Spatial and economic transitions issues representative of these three design and planning scales, will be discussed by the communications from several professional backgrounds, in order to confront theoretical and practical issues

This call for papers is open to academics:  teachers and researchers (from spatial disciplines and from social and life sciences) and PhD students (one session will be dedicated for them);

It is also addressed to:

• the territorial players: stakeholders: officials, contractors, inhabitants, associations, farmers, foresters;
• the practitioners and planners: architects, landscape architects, town planners, multidisciplinary teams.

Submission of abstracts

Deadline for submission of abstracts: abstracts must be sent before January 31st, 2017

Please specify the following as you submit your abstract :

• Name and surname of the submitter (main author); Name of institution;
• Contact information: email, telephone, address;
• If applicable: Name(s) and surname(s) of co-author(s);
• Session chosen.

According the status of the contributor 3 types of abstracts are suggested:

• for the academics: submission of a résumé (3,000 characters) with one page bibliography references.
• for the territorial players and design practitioners: submission of a résumé (3,000 characters) with five images.
• for PHD Students: submission of a résumé (3,000 characters)  with one page bibliography references.

Selection of abstract and submission of full-text paper

Date of submission : April 28th (after notification of acceptance of proposal of contribution in late January) a first version of the full-text paper will be online (www.erps.archi)

According the status of the contributor, 3 formats of papers are suggested:

• for academics: 20,000 characters (titles, authors and references included) ; 
• for territorial players and design practitioners: 10,000 characters (titles, authors and references included).  Contribution can take the format of an interview 10 000 c + five images.
• for PHD Students : a interactive slide show of 3 minutes presenting their research topic.

Publication of paper

The proceedings will be published in the series of ERPS publications, published by the Saint-Etienne University Press (6 volumes already published) in the new  bilingual layout. It will include keynote conferences and a selection of academic papers.
